Breakfast is over...
The parade was great.... 1 1/2 hours & 93 entries - lots of flags, candy, musical groups (high school band was awesome - my son plays trumpet), Shriner Midget cars, horses, lots of floats with wavers (mantra - elbow, elbow, wrist wrist), noisy fire trucks and of course, being in farmland central, lots of TRACTORS - big ones, little ones, old ones, new ones - Farmalls, Allis Chalmers, John Deere - you name it, we had it!
We were thinking of maybe next year having an entry of teardrops or maybe make up some teardrop go carts and do the sychronized driving like the Shriners...Now that would be a hoot!
Woo Hoo!
Now on to the barbeque!
Pie and Ice Cream social and fireworks to follow.
