Right now in my Suburban CD player is Bob Seger's new release. I like it. In my PT Cruiser (6 CD changer) is Fleetwood Mac, a mix of oldies country, ACDC, another Bob Seger, and Chris LeDoux. I like a large variety of music. I cannot stand rap. It is just about the only kind of music that I hate.

Mine varys. Just got a few ZAPPA cds and they are great. Really like his live set and Catholic Girls is a great song! Like CCR - Traveling Wilburys, Dick Dale, Les Paul, Clapton, and when my 16yo plugs in his IPOD - listen Opeth(sp?).

Just bought an mp3 capable CD player for my truck. It interfaces with my iPod AND has a USB plug for thumb drives, I am quite happy with it. It currently has a 2gig thumbdrive that holds the equivelant of 35 CDs. Although they are more expensive, I like the thumb drives because they can take a lot of abuse.

The thumb drive has a bunch of different music on it, Madonna, 2-Pac, Abba, Black Eye Peas, Smashing Pumpkins, Burt Bacharach, Dixie Chicks, Ying Yang Twins, Keith Urban, etc. My iPod has an even more diverse selection of music.

My wife's car has an iPod capable stereo. I bought it specifically for the drive to IRG. Just to bug her, I listened to Madonna for the entire drive across New Mexico. I actually stopped it when we got to Arizona, there were a couple dozen songs that we didn't listen to.

When I'm out in the garage, I listen to a station called BOB-FM, their tag line is, "We play anything" which suits me because I'll listen to (almost) anything.

Just got Sirius Radio. I got tired of ruining CD's in the shop. Works great in the car, and in the T?D. I listen mostly to Shuffle, a mixed bag of almost everything!
When I pick a CD, I'll go for Dave Mathews, Blues Traveler, John Mayer..

You're kidding me, you have that down there too. Or are you getting the one out of Pittsburgh? They killed my favorite radio station with that damn BOB crap! Do they use the lines similar to "Bob plays what he wants because Bob owns the station" or something along those lines? The "We play anything" bit sounds familiar. If I recall correctly the only thing it says they won't play is polkas.

I wake up to BOB-FM I was looking for Mix 94.7 and found BOB it is purty good. Austin radio stations are much better than San Antonio.

I will listen to almost anything. In my escape I listen to NPR, in the Suburban XM's Flight 26 and At my desk here at work I have Blue October, Stroke 9, Hoobastank, Linikin Park, Men At Work, Wyclef, Willie, John Conlee, Dixie Chicks, Chris Ledoux, James Blunt, Gypsy Kings, Robert Earl Keen, and David Wilcox.

Long distance, I listen to talking books. Local, I listen to talking books. 98% of the time... otherwise, it is Celtic music (see avatar. Siobhan, Irish step-dancing friend). Enya, Enigma, etc......

We have our own BOB, but they are proly owned by the same company. They say the same exact thing about bob owning the station, etc. It's kinda stupid but I usually tune out when the commercials come on. I did some poking around, and there are a bunch of them in the US and Canada.

I can't believe what a bunch of uncultured boobs I associate with here!

For me, it's only Beethoven, Bach and Brahms.

Okay, for real:

Bare Naked Ladies (from Canada) and anything by The Monkees and The Archies.
Here we go again!

For the most part, it'd be:
DEVO
DKs
Oingo Boingo
Plasmatics
Minor Threat
Descendents
and the like...

Lately however, the soundtrack to the Rocky Horror Picture Show has been spinning a lot. :D

Ira, you are a trip!! 8)

I like my Buffet, country oldies, a little bit of classical, and big band. My favorite soundtrack is from the Aviator, though. I love that 20's - 30's sound.

People probably think I'm weird... a 43 yr old woman cranking up Nickelback (I sang Animals on the radio for concert tickets!) and Evanescence, Korn, Nine Inch Nails, Flyleaf, Hinder, Staind, Perfect Circle, Tool, Green Day,Breaking Benjamin, ..... I think of the song before the artist...
but also Hoobastank, Zero 7, BeeGees, Jet, Beck, stuff from the 70s and 60s...
I heard a bit of a new Peter Frampton CD that is coming out... sounded cool !!!!

I love Bob & Tom in the mornings,
We have a BOB FM in OKC that is classic rock.
We also get Lex & Terry from Dallas... they get a little crazy sometimes!

Yeah Karol., anything but rap. I do like a couple of pop /dance type stuff once in a while. hahaha
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!
