Most entertaining thread ever

The story of "Larry Luan" and schlepping through the store is one of my favorites.

I also enjoyed Ira's the long and everlasting drain story of the deep bouncy baby sink. What fitting was it you should use to go through the bulk head Ira?

After reading "The Larry Luan post" that Ira wrote. I too can picture Ira sort of like a silent movie actor trudging through the Home Depot forlorn, and lost to the true context of what part would complete his project in a timely manner. Meeting immigrant labor in this state of mind can only bode for good reading down the thread.

I am all for sending Ira into the bowels of Home Depot searching for any moderately difficult solution that he finds confusing. When he comes back after the third trip of schlepping the aisles and totally washed out... Then I want his usual entertaining and creative banter to splash across the forum.

I may speak for some who enjoy a good smile with an occasional belly laugh, when I say "We have needs." Ira's Trials and Tribulations written for us to read fills that need ~ Yes Ira would get my vote as our Charlie Chaplin figure that acts out for us and we appreciate.

I think you are thinking of some other thread. I don't remember any arguing on Ira's thread when he found out he forgot the ground wire in his 120 vac system. Just alot of razzing going on and laughing actually. I do know the thread ( Thank God it did die also) that you speak of though and this is not the one I was refering too

I said it was before Ira's thread. Quite some time before I believe. It was sometime around Jan or Feb I think. I do remember some heated discussions. I went back and forth several times before I finally decided to just ground the chassis and pray. Or did I not ground the chassis? Heck, I just don't remember what I did. But it hasn't blown up or electrocuted me yet. HMMMMMM?

That ain't gonna work - you wanna drive a big metal stake in the ground with the ground wire fixed on the end to be sure.

'Course every time you step outside you break another toe by kicking the top of the stake and then re-break your nose by tripping over the ground wire trailing across the ground but, hey, electrical safety doesn't come for free......

And don't make the mistake of thinking you're protected from vampires by that big metal stake - you need to carry another, wooden, stake for that........
