Our Cat Died

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Sorry John, I feel your pain. Being from the frozen North...I have a gecko in the freezer for lack of a good burial place...tough to do a decent Christian burial on a cat if you can't put a spade in the ground.

How can I tell you this...if you don't feel you can just dispose of him (out the road, or in the dump), freezing is not bad...have a memorial for the kids...and they will not remember the cat in the freezer next June.

Boo hoo

John,
I watched our dog be put to sleep. Brought back memories of my dad dying too. I wasn't allowed in the hospital room because they knew he was going and didn't traumatize teenagers back then. I sure wish I could go back and be traumatized. I would know to sneak in and break the rules. 8) :) He deserved to have his family with him.

The vet was really worried when I burst out in big floppy tears. Wanted to call my husband. I honestly couldn't speak to tell him I was fine and just hadn't cried for a long time.

Take the cat to the vet, the fine is sure to cost more. Plant something in it's honor for the kids, but be prepared to hear the crying over tabby's tree if you ever move or have a bad storm.

Sorry about your loss. Having the ashes opens a lot of options. I just took some of Duffy's ashes 2700 across country and left them at an event he loved. He might not have noticed but I felt a whole lot better. I don't do cats well be your buddy is your buddy, leave him where you think he would love it.
