I have several chevrolet 235 engines. I think they are one of the best engines ever made. I have both solid and hydralic lifter engines and they both run the same. the only thing I do notice is the hydralic lifter engine make less noise. Not much less but noticable.
Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind? Ask yourself these simple questions every time you are in doubt about any action.
