Great looking dog. Is it a Jack Russell? We've got 3 Jacks, and a Italian Greyhound. Jacks are very smart dogs, this one loves to hike with us:

Jeff & Odie - Yep, Ranger is a JRT, about 9 weeks old now. He is investigating everything we have, and I can tell he's a smart one, and as Cam5e has said, I see some of the head strong traits.

I set him in the trailer last night with me for a bit. Seemed to like it. Figured I better start little by little.

Gaelen - I couldn't see your pics.

The red one is 12, and he's been tent camping and hiking since he was about 8 months old. The spotted (blue roan) is the new girl, a 4y.o. retired show dog who's discovering that she can be beautiful *and* smart--she starts agility training on Saturday. And come warmer weather, she'll learn about camping. 8)

You may need to ensure that your photo albums are 'public' or 'shared' or something of that nature for other folks to see them.

awk...I am still not very good at web photos! I did just change the permissions on the album of dog pics, so it should be 'public' now.

Web photos have cost me many points off that geek merit badge...

You may have to resend the URL. I couldn't get the photos.

We also have a new addition for our teardrop, but I don't think she will fit inside our tear much longer, but for now, she is still a puppy. Gina is a 4 mos old Giant Schnauzer and she already stands taller than my knee.
It would be wonderful to one day get all of our canine campers
together.

Best Wishes to all the teardrop canine campers,

Italia

Giant Schnauzer ??? I've known several Schnauzer owners, but never heard of a Giant Schnauzer. Sounds interesting, how big do they get? Any pics?

This is my (sometimes) campin' buddy. She's just a mutt but she is a great little dog. First time we camped I (fortunately) had her leash on inside the trailer.
When the coons attacked around 1:30am, she darn near choked when she came to the end of the leash. :?
She loves to be out doors and sit by the fire but she's still a "wild animal" when animal visitors come. :R :shock:Image
