Things that don't fit anywhere else...

I fix Gas pumps, and I know for a fact that if you put a gas pump on side of a road, without any hoses or nozzles, and with the bottom doors removed..someone will pull up and try to get gas..

This shot is showing a Gulf station in the town of Bedford, Pennsylvania in south central Pennsylvania. I added this interesting site as well. Enjoy!

Very nice  Is GULF still in business? They disappeared from California in the 70's. I collected so many Libby drinking glasses from Gulf that they filled a 2'x2'x4' box. Still have steak knives from Wilshire gas stations. Danny

This site use to be with a gas station in Bedford also. It was almost ruined by time and neglect. It was donated and moved across the highway to the Bedford fairgrounds.

This station is in Zillah Wa. It was built after the Teapot Dome scandal in the 1920's. It was still pumping gas as of a few years ago. I heard that it was going to close because of EPA regulations. It would have looked good with the Coffee Pot that southpennrailroad posted.
