It's gotta be tough on you having to stay in one room that is smaller than your walk in closet.

Sorry, but the jails are FULL of people who ARE serving more than a single day.

This thing stinks on all levels, and the s*** about this is starting to hit the fan already.

IF IT WAS ME, WOULD I BE LET OUT AFTER 3 DAYS???
Here we go again!

Joan Crawford: No... wire... hangers. What's wire hangers doing in this
closet when I told you: no wire hangers EVER? I work and work 'till I'm
half-dead, and I hear people saying, "She's getting old." And what do I
get? A daughter... who cares as much about the beautiful dresses I give
her... as she cares about me. What's wire hangers doing in this closet?
Answer me. I buy you beautiful dresses, and you treat them like they were
some dishrag. You do. Three hundred dollar dress on a wire hanger. We'll
see how many you've got if they're hidden somewhere. We'll see... we'll
see. Get out of that bed. All of this is coming out. Out. Out. Out. Out. Out.
Out. You've got any more? We're gonna see how many wire hangers
you've got in your closet. Wire hangers, why? Why? Christina, get out of
that bed. Get out of that bed. You live in the most beautiful house in
Brentwood and you don't care if your clothes are stretched out from wire
hangers. And your room looks like some two-dollar-a-week furnished room
in some two-bit back street town in Okalahoma. Get up. Get up. Clean up
this mess.

Things like this don't piss me off... Doesn't bother me one iota what a dimwit like Paris Hilton does with her life. What is clear is she doesn't have a clue about anything that matters. She is just more proof that a life of wealth and privilege doesn't automatically equate to happiness. Most of us eventually learn happiness and satisfaction in life is not usually about money. Things like the love and respect of your friends are far more important... and can't be bought. Admiration from your peers for your talents and accomplishments also cannot be bought. Feeling good because you know you have done something in life that made others happy, their life better in some way, or maybe the world a better place in some small measure... cannot be bought. Raising offspring to successful worthwhile and fulfilling lives that you share is priceless too. Being carefree and stupid may look like utopia... but it generally leads to an unfulfilled life of misery and feeling sorry for yourself, usually blaming it all on someone else.

So why would I feel anything but pity for the likes of Paris Hilton? She may get it someday... but I doubt it. :(

...now stepping down from the soapbox.

I think I saw on the news that she is ordered to appear in court tomorrow. There was so much backlash about letting her go early that the Sheriff's department is in damage control mode. At least that's is from what I could tell. I couldn't hear the TV because it was in the noisy cafeteria at work.
