Back to Basics "Whirley Popper"

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

I too have one of these and swear the taste is superior.

When one wants popcorn and know what is on the corn ... this is the way to go.

Flavor to the Max .... eh Geron?

If it's the whirley popper

1-3 Tablespoons of oil (or more if you dare ;) )
1/2 cup of popcorn

That should raise the lid on your popper. Notice also virtually all the kernels pop!!
If it's not broken, you're not trying hard enough.

Kenny has had one for years and loves it. I got rid of my airpopper and mircrowave poppers. A friend thoughtKenny's would wear out so she gave me her brand new one to give to him.
I dont think they wear out, his is still going strong so I am putting the new one in the tear.
thanks for the idea I would have never thought of it. I was looking for a campfire corn popper but this will be better.

Thanks for this thread! I have one of those in my garage in all the "stuff" we moved in with my mother-in-law recently. (No, the mother-in-law does not stay in the garage!) I was wondering what it was and how to use it. It's amazing what you can learn on this wonderful forum.
I cut it three times and it's still too short!!

I've owned one of these for several months and they do make the best tasting popcorn I've ever had. I take it along on our scout troop campouts, the popcorn is a big hit. Plus, you can find some interesting spices and flavors online to liven up the end results.
