Our health insurance at woork had a revamp about a year ago. Instead of a "plan" they made everything ala carte. For example, you can opt for $5 co-pay prescriptions for a fee but you can also get $0 co-pay for cheaper. You could juggle your benefits to meet what you wanted/were able to pay.
We kept the coverage pretty close to what it was and had about a 20% increase in what we pay. Even though it was "only" a 20% increase, the coverage is slightly less because the out-of-pocket expenses are higher.
