Not the same at all but our D.I.L. had a partial knee replacement 'bout 3mos ago & thru either poor PT (not fault of therapist) regimen or lack of proper exercise between PT sessions, she developed lots of scar tissue around the prosthesis, that was severely limiting her movement in addition to considerable pain. On Wed Sep 12 she went in for knee 'manipulation' under anesthesia. Woke up to more pain but has since progressed remarkably & has much more freedom of movement (she can actually bring her heel up to touch the back of her thigh now.
