Not that I'm exactly thrilled with any of the other contenders on either slate...

The Republican polls were dead on and the Democrat polls were way off. One analysis is that because of the polls showing a 10 - 15% lead for Obama, "Independents" voted in the other primary for McCain. The pushing of Obama's big lead by the MSM probably contributed to his loss.

She did better with Women voters in NH than in Iowa. Also, the New England states are more here turf than the midwest.

As I said before, my worst nightmare is Rudy vs. Hillary in November. That would be an all-time low point in US presidential elections, IMHO.

Or possibly Huckabee Hound. Gufffaw.

And, we wouldn't want another Bill Clinton. All that peace and prosperity sucked, big time.

Damn. I just read that my favorite guy is dropping out of the race. Too smart and reasonable, I guess. We can't go and have a smart and reasonable president, now can we.

Okay, I gotta' find a plan B.

For all the flapping lips I was seeing the other night about those pre-vote polls, NOT ONE pointed out what the standard errors were on that poll that showed Obama ahead by 10%. They were +/- 5%. In short, any individual number could be off by as much as 5%. Bluntly: Obama's # minus 5% combined with Hillary's # plus 5% basically gives us the result we saw. Big deal.

No need to blather on for hours about what MUST account for why their favored son failed to perform how the polls said. It's just the nature of statistics. Sometimes (in extremely predictable frequencies actually) you're gonna be off by a certain amount.

Course that doesn't allow them to fill hours and hours of airtime on live TV talking about a list of dozen or so numbers that just didn't change very much (percentage-wise anyway). Kinda like watching bread rise.

Gee, just think how many girlfriends and new wives Rudy Giuliani could go through if he won, and got re-elected. We might need to add a new wing to the White House for all the First Ladies.

All I know, is if it is Giuliani or McCain against Clinton or Obama, I will be voting 3rd party or writing-in a candidate.

Piss poor choices, that seem to get worse each election.
