Actually eventhough I look like I go to Dairy Queen a lot I have only been in there 5-6 times in 7 years. Down the street a little father is a place called Zesty's that has custard...I believe that is much healthier for you.

This Dairy Queen actually only does the ice cream stuff and stopped doing the grill about a year and a half ago...the goofy kids that work there weren't able to keep up. Probally the main reason I never go there. The last time I went over to get the kids a couple of Dilly Bars it took me a half hour.

And by the way I always walk and never taken the motorcycles...well maybe the one time but that one didn't count...I was in a hurry!

Have you seen the BMW C1--it seems to be influenced by the Quasar. I've only seen one in the US--it seems not to be street legal.

I learned to ride a couple of years ago at the local community college. I now have a Road King that I like to cruise on. Didn't ride as much last year as I wanted, but I'm hoping to get some miles in this spring/summer/fall... when I'm not teardroppen or DO cook'n that is.

Gotta say some nice bikes on here,,, real nice,,, I started riding when I was 15 on a Honda step thru,50cc,,, hada Honda super 90, 250 scrambler, 175 scrambler, NSU Yack, with swing arm front suspension,, HD shovel, Yammaha 650, an old flat head meter maid HD that was cut down,,, (grocery getter) Honda mini, and now HD 1200 bar hopper,,, I dont get to ride any distance but riding is riding,, I did a little over 7000 miles last year just on short jaunts,,, It sure is fun even for an old man,,,

I've been riding since I was a kid. Started on dirt bikes when I was about 10 and street bikes at about 15. I've had most of them at one time or another, Harley, Honda, Kaw, Yamaha even had a Husky and a Benelli and a Hodaka for a while.
One of my favorites was my '85 700 Vulcan, one of the most comfortable, dependable bikes I ever had!
Been tearin' them apart and puttin' them back together as long as I've been riding them, in fact I got the Vulcan in a box, albeit a big box. I think that's half the fun of it.
My next one will be a V-8 trike that I am going to build from scratch. Wife won't let me on 2 wheels anymore, my back causes too many problems with my legs and she's afraid I'll fall off.

And yes I have forgot to put my feet down at a stop light once, and only once. That's something you generally don't do a second time.

Nice bike but I'm not much on sidecars. Besides, building the trike will be half the fun and I've got some really wild ideas for it!! I'll be able to pull the tear with it too.

Like most of you guys (And gals),, I started to ride when I was fourteen on a whizzer motor bike. moved up to a 125 BAS then a 500 one lung BSA, 650 Triumph, I rode a Norton (until The front fork broke and sent me flying over the handle bars. I wore out seven Harley Davidsons (One a year)chaseing speeders on the Southern Calif Freeways. I still have all of my skin from that. Got promoted to Sergeant and started to ride Gold wings , for my own pleasure, all over the west coast and up into Canada. wore out two of those beauties and retired with no broken bones.
Every time I see a Motorcycle I start to taste the bugs in my teeth again.

By the way Chip...from your other post...7000 miles in a year on a Sporty just doing local runs is pretty good. I never added up all the bikes, but I probally had 12,000...but I also did a couple longer runs. I use to average 20,000 a year pre-kid...which I didn't figure that was that bad concidering the 3 month riding season we have around here.

Before my mom got cancer and then a heart attack wanted to get one of these...


They were called Ecstasy trikes, but now it looks like they are Renegade Trikes out of Jeffersonville, IN. We drove down and test rode them...what a blast.

That looks like a ride I could have fun with and I'll bet it would have no trouble pulling my tear!!
I'm thinking more along the lines of a fuel injected 302 with a 4 speed auto, just a little milder than what you are on there! And if the Beemer don't get to runnin' right this spring the trike will be getting a BMW rear end!

The guy that owns this one pulls a old small pop-up trailer all over heck and creation,,,, the only prob with a teardrop is seeing over the top or around the sides,,,, but thats nuffin but a lil redneck engineering and a cut to fit and beat in place situation,,, Roy is running a 4 link rear with coilovers,, the ride is very smooth and runs true,, total weight is around 1800 lbs, but a bunch of it is in the motor,,, I know its quick,, Roy says it will do a minute in 20 seconds,,,

I am thinking for me a v-6 or even a 4 banger would be just fine,, some of the old Datsuns have an independent rear suspension that can be easily dropped and used, something like a 240-Z,, 6cyl, trans and rear ,, makes it less complicated in fitting parts together,,,

We were in Eureka Springs, AR. a few months ago and stopped at a restaurant to eat lunch. There was a group of about 10 or 12 three wheelers drove in and the group came in and sat down across from us. Well, they were having such a good time so when Gene went to the rest room, I just got up and joined the cyclist. They welcomed me and had me sit down with them. When Gene came out they told him I was going with them. To make a long story short they took me for a ride around Eureka and it was a ball. They were a reallly nice group of guys and gals. I was hooked but Gene wasn't. One of the guys was interested in MINI's so Gene took him for a ride in the MINI while I was touring the town on the bike. Grani isn't ready for no rocking chair.
