What she said.

Well, not her name, I mean, it would be pretty creepy if I used her name as my screen name.

Mine is 5/9ths of my name. I threw in some math to impress you, but now I am totally confused. Back to my sandwich . . .

 :surrender: 5/9ths :laughing1: Good one. :applause:

In the 80s I joined a company that had really well thought-out systems and one was their staff code - first two letters of your first name + first three letters of your surname. So I'm Andrew Gibbens and that becomes ANGIB.

Your staff code was used for everything - it was quick, easy and reliable. With only 50-100 employees no-one ever had the same staff code (though a couple were only one letter different). 20-30 years later and having left the company, most members still use their staff code, as I do - it's become an alternative name. My business website is..... you've guessed it, http://www.angib.co.uk/

One man, the chairman of the company, had a non-standard staff code - his name was Peter Nash..... but his staff code was PETER.

When I first joined a Teardrop forum, there was more than one "Kurt".

So that I could tell it was me; I used Kurt (Indiana). I've not been confused (about that) since.

It's what I do...I own Professional Handyman Services.
Actually, I joined the forum several years ago as Handyman, went for a while without logging on, and when I to log on the next time, I had forgot the handyman user name and password, and I thought it was in use by someone else! So I had to modify it.

When I was in college we got our first interactive computer system and it allowed 9-character user names. We were allowed to pick anything we wanted as long as it wasn't obscene and, being the creative type, I just started typing my name until I ran out of characters. I've been using it for well over 30 years now.

I like to smoke briskets as a hobby. My last gig was a birthday party for 50 people. Someone suggested that I should start my own business and call it Smokey Bobs BBQ. And now you know.

Long, long ago in a galaxy really close by, there existed a world often visited by everyone here. Many visit even unto this day. Anyway, in this world there lives such a vast array of people and creatures that it boggles the mind. Some of these people are Kindr'spirits; heroes destined to wander the darkness to battle evil and bring light and comfort to the innocent, especially the children. The master of this world and the creator of these people is me. I am Rem the Dreamer. I will create a hero to battle what frightens your sleep away. Characters like Lucky

Dean my name...
Eureka, CA where I live...
Joined a forum years back that required you use your name and let people know where you were from.
I do have another username I use on other forums... fogcrawler.
It's 'cause it can get real foggy here along the North Coast and when I'm outside, I prefer having it be foggy as opposed to being hot and sunny.
When most folks are itchin' to hop over the mountain to where the heat is, I guess I'm content to just crawl around in the fog....
Hey Rich,
I just Googled fogcrawler... Somebody stole my name.
