Maybe that is why I hate listening to her talk, it always sounds like she has a chip on her shoulder. The, "I'm a woman so I have something to prove." chip. It even shows when she is doing an interview. Who cares if you have something to prove, if you win races it will shut the nay-sayers up.

You're right she is a "feisty" girl. In her position, she has to be a little more agressive to keep pace.
If I was in her place I'd be the same way. She is struggling against a big challenge.
Most traditional race fans and guys in general don't think she has any place in a "guys" sport. Truth is; she pretty good (for a girl).

But it is a equal sport none the less. It sould not be good, for a girl. If she can't keep up, then she needs to leave. Whinning is not going to make her look any better, just make women in sports look worse, because she is what people see for women in sports.

I don't think racing is a guys sport. Do it or don't. Don't wine about the out come.

girls smirls...that really has nothing to do with it, although she easier to look at then Emerson Fittipaldi. Sara Fisher has been in the sport for a while and only caused a ripple, Danika has got some talent and maybe a temper, so what? Everyone watchs attentively when Kevin Harvick jumps over a car and gets in someone face, then we all laugh about it. If someone wrecked me I would be aggavated too, and my language would not be for the gentle folk.

Hey

But at least a kiwi won. :applause: :applause: :applause:

The press here in NZ has had a lot of coverage, previously they had no coverage of Scott winning the championship, I guess their attention span can only manage one race. :o

The difference here is Kevin goes after people that can hit him back. Danicka slapped a drive awhile back and the other driver can't hit her back. She went after another driver knowing he can't do anything to her or it's his career.

I get the Happy Harvick thing.
But yeah, unless Danika is ready to be punched right back, she should not lift her hand, and you are right, if the male was to hit her back, people would have a problem with it.
Equal rights, huh??

Not every one, yeah, I'm old school as far as you don't hit a woman....but if she asks for it.....

In a high stress environment such as that the gentlemen rules should be relaxed...in the interest of equal rights. BUTTTTTT fighting isn't something that should be promoted, can't we all just get along?
