So, how did mulching with pine straw work out? I used Oak leaves and the Maters and peppers loved it.

The pine straw was great... . The pine straw is really good from keeping weeds out if you lay it thick enough. It's also great for keeping the ground from drying out in hot Georgia heat.
I can say that they helped out tremendously on the garden.
