Anybody remember this little guy?...

To my surprise, it's still being produced and can be bought from places like This, but is now sweetened with hih fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners instead of cane sugar... Like it was when I was a kid.

Reddy Kilowatt, the power company sent lapel pins out in their billings. Now they just send bills.

We had a similar one round here called "willie wirehand"

I've been trying to think of Saturday morning cartoon shows of the 70's and early 80's. Like: Puffenstuff, Lidsville, Didn't the Bay City Rollers have a Saturday morning show, Sigmund and the Sea Monster(which if memory serves right had Josephine in it). Any others?
If I could shut my brain off, I could save myself alot of time, money and effort.

What about Nurse Hazel and Hexol disinfectant ... or am I getting them confused with something else ... :thinking: ... call it halfheimers if you want, but I sure remember the smell of the hallway cabinet that held all that stuff ... :roll:

Anybody up in the Pacific NW, Seattle area remember Brakeman Bill or PJ Patches and his ICU2 TV set? Late 50's-early 60's. I was on Brakeman Bills with the cub scout troop...Mom was mad cause I was turned around watching the trains instead of looking at the camera. His side kick was Crazy Donkey, a hand puppet... Much simpler times....Doug

While not from Seattle ( arrived 1989) I have heard the references to Patches and Brakeman Bill... I guess much like our Engineer Bill in So Calif.

Annette.. yah, geeesh, times gone by... :cry:

so gunslingers???
Paladine = Richard Boone
Wanted Dead or Alive = Steve McQueen
Rifleman = Sumpt'n-Sumpt'n McCain? or some baseball player (fergit his name)

Oh well, time to do a dive Campout... now that the crowds are gone and bugs froze to death.. off to find a campsite in the Great PNW... :twisted:
...just 'Camping Inn' the PNW
