Whats wrong with a ladder in the bed of a pickup truck? Unless someone drives the truck away.

That did happen once.. a guy tied a rope to his truck, then threw the rope over the roof and tied himself off on it.... someone climbed in and drove off with the truck, pulling him up and over the roof..... not sure if he died or not.

Because I had the day off!! Starting Tuesday I start decorating other peoples houses at $40 an hour. Can't have my personal life interfere with that.

You didn't do like Chevy Chase in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation did you? Where he stapled his sleeve to the roof and then fell over backwards off the ladder into a bush. Then turned on the lights and the electric meter spun like a top and blinded his next door neighbors.
And then his brother-in-law showed up in an RV and emptied the holding tank into the sewer. After which time a lit cigarette was dropped in causing an explosion.
