Here in Lake Orion we don't get as much snow as we used to get in Ohio.

We had a doozie a couple years ago, when we got two feet overnight. But most often it's in the 1-2 inch or 2-4 inch range.

In Ohio, on the other hand, I remember one year we got 3 feet overnight. Talk about things coming to a standstill. :o Of course, that's lake effect snow!

Heikki, when you finallly decide to come to sunny Southern California, we will take a drive up to the local mountains and I will show you some So Cal snow, on a mountain that I can see from my house, down here on the flat-land. Then before lunch do some surfing in the Pacific and top the day off by visiting Disneyland and a late night prime rib dinner in Hollywood. (PS, bring your credit card)

Everytime is see a pic of your place, it honestly looks like you just recently painted it and one can eat their lunch right off of the front porch floor. What is it about those Finns? Har det so bra och hoppas at du ar varmpt. (I think that means I hope things are fine and he is warm)
