Things that don't fit anywhere else...

We are having record breaking heat down here. Sure could go for some of the cooler weather but not the snow. We have had a heat index of 100 or more for weeks now. Thank goodness I am close to the beach and we do get some breeze from there once in awhile. Looking forward to getting the tear out again soon. Everyone up north is putting theirs in storage and we are getting ready to hit the roads. Probably next week.

Woke up this morning to snowfall. Wet, very slick snowfall. By noon there were 54 accidents recorded in town. Just east of town there was an unfortunate fatality on the interstate.

Our average temp for October is supposed to be 61. Hey, maybe that ice age they warned us about in the 70s is actually here!

Heh. May-bee! I sit corrected...

Jebus. 54 accidents. I suppose that's what a surprise slick snowfall will do to those who're caught out without their winter tires and/or chains.

I trust you and yours made it through the day unscathed?
