Thanks Nathan N and Shooter,

We have a Lowes in our area, and the website says it's available. So it's on the birthday list!!! :D

Mike, when it comes to small, table-top portable grills, there's just nothing that beats a Weber Smokey Joe Gold. It cooks great, and closes up nice and tight for travel. It's ceramic coated, so it lasts for years, and you can get replacement grates pretty much anywhere after a few years, if you use it a lot, like I use mine.

I have two of them -- one is over ten years old and sits outside on my patio 24/7.

I got that one but it's a propane one and the lid comes off like a webber kettle. I like it a bunch.

It's not exactly a barrel shape but it is a table-top model and it is stainless steel:

We use our Smokey Joe Jr as a windbreak for our 12" dutch oven as well so it will serve double duty.
