2009 doesn't seem like outdated technology to us. We tend to use it til we have no choice. My laptop is older than that and my husbands cell phone is 10 years old but still works (he rarely uses it just for emergencies). Still think the N64 was the best game console and is our newest one, replaced our SNES.

until a few years ago my parents still had their apple IIc set up in the basement, kind of fun to fire up the old 5.25" floppy drive and enjoy a game of space invaders.

Amazing how outdated tech seems so old fashioned after a few years.
