Well, take away the "luck," and you have that old expression from the 60s:

Pot Party.

I guess it's a being old, New York thing.

Wiring was interupted by preparations for Rita, but is now finished. Rita was nice to us here in Plantersville, just some 50 mph "breezes" on Saturday, almost no rain. The campground is now full of performers and vendors for the Texas Renaissance Festival which opens this weekend. Rekon I'll be busy for the next couple of months now........... :D

Sorry I did not notice this thread earlier but preparing for Rita and the RenFest has kept me away from both the teardrop and the computer.

Don't know for shure, but Lafayette would have been West of Katrina and East of Rita. It did not get the brunt of either storm, but I haven't heard about the level of damages there.

...Finn, Lafayette is fine, they had some wind damage from Rita but nothing terribly serious...to the south west from there got pretty well flattened

p.s they got a little more damage than we did and we got our electricity back on Sunday night...they should have power now if they are somewhere in the main population areas

Speaking of Missing Members...
Any of you North West folks seen or heard from JamesW lately?
His last post was on Aug 11, which isn't all that long ago... but what concerns me is his website (A real estate website) in the Hall of Fame has been stomped on by an add posting search engine page...
Seems like he would have that problem fixed rather quickly if he was around to address it...
