Ok, You asked for it.....Here's my UFO story.
One of my many hobbies is flying. About 15 years ago I was flying a Diamond Katana DA-120 with a flight instructor. We were on approach to Huntsville International airport on the downwind leg of the pattern when ATC called us on the radio and said "Katana one mike foxtrot, Huntsville Aproach, Traffic warning, unidentified traffic at 180, Primary radar contact only, aircraft type and altitude unknown." Now this was significant as Huntsville is class c airspace, meaning that a transponder with mode C capibility is required to fly in the airspace. In plain english, any airplane traveling in that area is required to have equipment that tells the ATC tracking radar the type of aircraft, it's altitude, and identifies the specific aircraft by an assigned transponder code. The "primary radar contact only" meant that they had no data on it, other than it bounced a radar beam back. Particularly dense flocks of birds can do that, so they weren't completely sure if it was anything to worry about or not, but wanted to warn us to be on the lookout.
Well, I started looking for the traffic, and out in front of me I saw the steriotypical flying suacer. I asked my flight instructor, "Do you see that?" and pointed. He said, "Yep." I aksed him, "Do we report this or something?" My flight instructor looked at me sharply and said,"ABSOLUTLY NOT! When you fly airplanes, you sometimes see wierd things like that. If you report it, they will call you crazy, suspend your FAA medical certificate, and then you can't fly airplanes any more. The ONLY time you report something like that is if you have to take evasive maneuvers in controlled airspace and you have to explain to an FAA administrator why you deviated from ATC instructions."
Then we did the two 90 degree turns to come around to final approach. once we turned it was behind us and out of my field of view. After we landed, I looked for it, but never saw it again.

So, I'm on the fence about extraterrestrials. I can't deny others have been abducted. I just wonder at ETs always kidnapping the dumbest of humans.

I have seen many things that I can't explain. Lights in the sky, and a particularly odd light which changed colors several times and followed me around for several hours. Personally, I believe that there is life out there ... the universe is just too big for there not to be. Whether they're watching us or not ... eh. I'm not really sold on that one. Besides if they have the technology to get here, they definitely have the technology to do it secretly. We'll only know about them if they want us to.

The most disconcerting thing I've seen was a pair of reflective eyes which kept peeking at me from behind a tree. Figuring it was a cat or raccoon or such, I intentionally made a loud noise and the eyes rose up 5-6 feet off the ground and I could hear whatever it was run off through the brush. I looked the next day (after a sleepless night) and couldn't find any tracks or sign of any kind. Just thinking about watching those eyes rise up that high from the ground gives me goosebumps.

Imagine the distance between your eyes and your computer monitor is equivalent to the distance from the earth to the moon. That would put the nearest star over 18,000 miles away. The universe is so enormous, I doubt even super-advanced extraterrestrials could make it here.

But I've doubted things that turned out to be true before. So, who knows?

But if multidimensional theory is correct, that distance calculation is much different.

I've seen things I can't explain... I'm not saying it was from an alien life form, but there are weird things in the sky if you are at the right place at the right time.

Just a newbie here but I wanted to put in my two cents worth on the subject of UFO's and aliens. I see some folks posting on this thread posit with absolute certainty that there is no way aliens have visited this planet. How arrogant and full of one's self can you possibly be? To just carte blanche dismiss such a thing as impossible is, I think, ludicrous given that there are many proven encounters with aliens. I myself have had contact with aliens on many occasions, and anyone else who has met my in-laws would back me up on this. Get thee away from me doubters.

I don't have a problem with doubters....doubts do not equal disbelief or outright rejection. I can't say you haven't had contact, I wasn't there. I do have my doubts though...even though I've seen some things that I just can't quite explain.

I'm sure that I've been abducted hundreds of times. The sneaky aliens that abducted me erased my memory each time so I couldn't testify against them in court. The only thing I remember is that I think that I've been abducted again.

I think they also fried my brain just like they did to Randy Quaid.

I'mmmmmmmmmmmmmm baaaaaaaaaaaack.

Cheers,

Gus

I can't remember. That information was either erased or in the part of my brain that was fried.
