Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby DestinDave » Wed Oct 12, 2005 4:20 pm

Chip.. I got clipped in a football game years ago and shattered the lateral meniscus in my right knee. Had the old-fashioned surgery (8 inch curved scar halfway around the knee) and have had arthritis ever since. About 13 years ago I ruptured a disc and damaged two others. Had surgery on L3,4,5 and the doctor said I'd probably be back for more in 10 years. I'm at that point now - anti-inflammatories, pain pills, muscle relaxers, TENS unit, ice/heat, and therapy. Nothing is working for the pain any more. BUT, if I have surgery I promise I'll stay healthy from then on... Don't want you camping by yourself.. Getting older sucks but it beats the alternative... :)

I'll do the best I can. I hope to start on the next tear sometime in the next couple of months. Sides already cut and ready to go on. Won't take long. Chassis will be working on it in a few weeks.

I'll buy the first rounds.
