User Control Panel -Friends or Foes

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

This prompts me to ask, do the people you've tagged as foes get a notice telling them they've been foed? Anonymously tagged of course.

The person that I unfriended PM'd me to ask who I blocked; so, I don't think so.

Very wise thinking, Pat. I need a break from the comments before I lose my cool. Let me have a couple of days and I'll put the options back in place. It's either this or I stay away, which also would mean the "evil" would win. Thanks for right way to think about this.

I'm with Verna.

Thanks, Kevin.

PS. Niners just made a touch down, finally.

To everyone on the forum: If I ever offend you ... please speak up and let me know or even let a moderator know so they can give me that feedback anonymously.

I do occasionally speak of things controversial. To have disagreements or even heated discussions is OK. I enjoy the "arena of ideas" but I don't want to cause bad feelings or be hurtful to anyone.

I don't use the foes function because I refuse to let anyone get that far under my hide. If I don't want to read a post from someone, I skip over it. Easy. If someone is that far out of line, it's time to notify a moderator ... and yes, there have been several borderline posts (sexist and bullying) over the last few weeks. If it continues, I'll report it.

BTW - this forum has the best moderators. I'm fairly certain that they're already watching this situation.

There's an excellent example. The term "hen party" is considered a sexist term.

Really?

Stag party is ok, but hen party is sexist?

C'mon...

A reminder! If you have issues with someone else's posts take it up with an admin/moderator and/or use the friends/foes button and put them on ignore.
Taking action on your own in the open forum is not going to be tolerated. When posting here, remember to smile from the wrist down.
