"WARNING: This product cannot be shipped to California. Please check your State, County and City laws for restrictions before ordering this product."

Have a good day.

I'm supposed to post this for you guys...

Will you PLEASE post this link about this new, quiet Coleman 1850W generator for under $500 at Northern Tool?

http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/ ... =200316011

It’s designed for camping, and the price is unbelievable. The 2000w Honda is like twice the price.

Mike...
The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

Yea, but it's 79db rating doesn't make up for the difference. And, that said, does anyone have a "comparison" chart for db ratings? Just how loud is 59 db, or 79 db or 100 db? What is normal talking rated at, or a lawnmower, or a normal level on a television? I've heard the Honda at 59 db. 50 feet away from it, you hardly even notice it. You can stand right beside it and carry on a pleasant conversation. But some towns have an 80 db maximum noise restriction because of all these kids automobiles with loud speaker systems. So whats what?

Here's a fairly good chart http://www.josaka.com/Content/2000/Decibel-Chart.htm

I wish someone would invent an electronic gun that would disable some of those LOUD thumping stereos. Sometimes you can't even have a conversation in your own car when a thumper is next to you.

Well....
I'd say I have to take credit for Chris' confusion.
I mistakenly wrote down Coleman 1500 on page one.
I went back and edited in the 1850, but left my mistake so all would see that I was the one who led Chris off the path...
Sorry Chris. :D

I don't know about Steve but I'm standing by. Oh, and 1850 won't even work an elec coffee maker. Takes at least 1875 to work one of those things. But who needs elec coffee :QM :?

Have a safe weekend.
