Busy down here in the Southeast

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Sure am missing Florida. I think what bothers me most is knowing there is not much chance of me seeing you guys again. My son and I were only able to get to one gathering there in Florida(and we didn't even have a teardrop ready) but it seems like you are one bunch of friendly folks. I don't remember everyone's name but sure did take an immediate liking to Chip, Ross, Alan, Woody and the rest of the group. You guys go tear it up. Rob

This is the only reason we can afford to GO, Gage:

Last April, I bought the seasonal annual passes (can't go in the summer, Christmas, etc.), so this trip, the only costs are the hotel and incidentals.

But even at only $90 a night for a Disney value resort, staying 3 nights, add on gas, food, blah blah, blah blah...

And this long weekend is going to run me AT LEAST a grand.

Disney is a magical place--your money disappears and at the end of the day, you have no idea where it went.
Here we go again!

The first figure I came up with was a $1000, but I figured I would tone it down a little. With my contacts, Tanya and I go once a year with free tickets. I went to Disney Land the second day it opened. I believe it cost me $7.50 to get in and the another $15.00 for a book of tickets for the different rides. I've still got a book of tickets around here somewhere. Worth a lot more than $15.00 now (and you can't even use them). Enjoy your time there.

Have a good day.

Long gone are those days. When my mother-in-law passed away a couple weeks ago, we found some of the ticket books in the secretary. Of course they were only the A B and C tickets, definitely no E tickets.

The last couple of times we went to Disney World, we used our "hook-ups" and got free tickets. It is a totally different experience when you go for free, there is absloutely no pressure to get your money's worth and see everything.

Gage--that show you how long ago that was. For years, you don't even use tickets. The admission covers everything.
