Hey Snow People--We Want Pictures!

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby cracker39 » Mon Feb 13, 2006 8:05 am

I agree, Gage. I "Enjoyed" the snow during the 27 years I lived in Maryland...well, I enjoyed it sometimes, and it was a pain in the butt to shovel and drive in. But, I have to say I am really glad I'm back home where there isn't any snow. It got down to 37 here last nite, and is predicted to hit 32 tonite. I don't think it will be cold enough to damage the oranges though. The temp will only be up to 54 today and supposed to go to 64 tomorrow and reach 74 by Wednesday. So, I'll probably get out today to HD to buy some plywood and framing lumber and start making the floor tomorrow. Then, Wednesday, I can start cutting out and framing my sides.

Sorry I can't contibute pictures of snow unless you want some from a few years ago while still in Maryland.
Dale

Sometimes I pretend to be normal. But, that gets boring...so I go back to being me.

I can deal with the snow. The only time my house ever shakes is when the snow plow goes by.

Image Image Eagle Summit & friend, Gerry, cresting the top. Gerry is now out on the Yukon with the leaders. Neighbor, Phil, and others came along later and got lost in the storm. Mushers & teams rescued by military helicopters! Disappointing end to his race after 10 years of dreaming, raising dogs, training and preparation. But, that's racing. Image

I'm curious too! The wife and I looked at the photos and couldn't pinpoint the exact location.

Well, I miss it too. But I fished herring and the price is so low that my boat just sits lonely in Unalakleet. Image And more snow for Ira.

Damn! I'm glad I'm down here in El Paso.

I think I'll be washing my Jeep tomorrow before work!
