Enjoyed the Super Bowl. Though I didn't care who won (my team was not in it) I am happy for Matty Stafford. He deserved a big win. He's talented, and as humble as NFL QBs come. Matt earned a bit of overdue respect this season.

The halftime show... meh! Mentioned to my kids that it was my least favorite halftime show EVER and this is one response of many that make me wonder where I went wrong with my child rearing skills

My kids are well aware that they must never use that "OK Boomer" BS on me.
It's as insulting as they can get. There is no situation in which I consider it funny, I'll put up with a lot, but not that particular epithet.
They've benefited greatly from having a boomer father.
The reason they bought their own homes in their twenties is because Dear Old Privileged Boomer Dad worked his arse off, saved some money and gifted them their house deposits and fees.

P.S. Eminem was awesome. But there was a couple times where the mic was nowhere near his mouth and the words were still coming. Lip synching not so synched?

My kids, 30, 33 and 35, all know how fortunate they are. They didn't get their down payments from us but they were put in a position to save their own with our sweat and tears and college support. It's kind of a "term of endearment" with us. Most of the time I get that response when I'm teasing them so maybe an appropriate response from them. I don't take it as a form of disrespect but can see how it might be in certain circumstances.
