There was a post a while back to a website for teardrops and the guy made these to sell. Sorry, I can't remember the site. Maybe someone else does. I think he was selling them for around $50.00

I think they are both cute... I'd get bigger wheels on the second one though...

so I guess this is a good time to ask... does anyone know where I can get some 1:6 scale wheels that I can use on a teardrop model?

My father in law used to buy from them all the time, he really enjoys making wooden cars and trucks, he now makes his own. I can get the details if you want. But if I remember right, he uses a hole cutter to cut a blank, then he shapes/turns on a homemade wheel lathe. Think it is an old motor from a table saw.
