The Site Problem!

Gage, as far as the bots...that is info from the hosting company...which is where I think the problem actually resides regardless of what they say...they keep saying it is something we are doing different but the bots invading by the dozens are the only thing it could be on our side...as far as that "other" site goes, they are tiny/private/hidden and of no consequence to this paticular discussion...if ya like 'em so much, what ya doin' here...

Wow Jack,
Your comments come across as being a bit rude IMHO. The owner of that "other" site happens to be a friend of mine. I reread Gage's post and I'm having a hard time figuring out what he said that sparked your comments.

gee Kevin, I certainly didn't mean to be rude...especially to Gage...I was trying once again to answer his concerns over our service...as far as the "other" site goes, I know nothing about them except they are small/private/hidden and any relationship between them and us has nothing to do with the problems this site is experiencing...as I stated, to me they inconseqential to the problems we are experiencing unless of course they are attempting a DOS attack upon us...which I don't beilieve to be the case...

Jack, I read Gage's post several times, but I don't believe it warranted a comment from one of us admins that suggests that a member leave this board. The recent problems with the board are frustrating enough without adding fuel to the fire.

Jack, if you re-read my post. I said TeardropTimes which does not exist today and some on this board used to complain about it always being down.

Are you talking about ALO being junk or someone blaming it on spam bots? Well in my eyes, AOL is junk (I had it for 6 months) and bots are in my web site all the time and they don't slow it down a bit.
