Nothing exciting about me........
But I always wanted to be a pirate. But I lived about 1100 from the nearest ocean. And a pirate in a canoe chasing weekend campers just didn't cut it.
But ...... I'm thinking that if I had a pontoon boat that I could just drive a teardrop on the deck and strap it down and float down the Mississippi someone might take me serious.

I did run away from home several times before my 16th birthday. I wanted to be a hippy and live in SanFransico. But as I headed west I always ran out of money in Colorado. Great place to be stranded for several weeks.

My goal in life is to get lost. For about several years.... There is this beach on the Gulf in Mexico where a gringo can live well on far less money then here.... Fresh fish, mild tequila, and a wonderful assortment of just picked fruit......

:D

Without teardrops and Dutch Ovens I'm just an empty shell!

1. I recently learned how to ride a motorcycle and now ride a Road King.

2. I enjoy photography

3. My next undertaking is learning how to quilt. I've bought fabric but haven't gotten around to actually sewing.

P.S. - after reading all of the posts I realize that I'm boring...

1) I married my High School sweetheart 33 years ago. We were 18 and 19. Still going strong.

2) Built the largest wooden rocking chair in at least the USA in 1985. I contacted The Guiness World book of records to see how to enter it and if my 18' high chair would qualify . They only had a catagory for largest wooden chair. I was larger then that but there was to much work and not much chance they would add a second catagory. We used it as a parade float. Knocked down part of a street light during the parade. We then used a crane to put it on the roof of our wood shop as advertising, till a storm took it down about 5 years later.

3) I have been self employed in the Furniture- Cabinet Making business my whole life. My wife says I am not suited to work for someone else. I'm not sure what she means.

I'm pretty boring. Here goes;

1. Developed a bifocal contact lens in the 80's that was produced in Japan

2. Got beat up by 4 Hell's Angels when I was 15 because I won a motorcycle race. They were really tough dudes to kick 6 kinds of dog crap out of a kid. Tough Guys. I beat their boy again a week later in flat track.

3. I own the record at my college for the longest sentence, correctly punctuated with the most words. (347)

I went to high school with my wife, but I didn't really know her. I met her at a bar 3 years after high school and have been with her for the last 20 years. We have two of the most beautiful girls you'll ever see (5 & 8 ). They must get it from their mother.

My team won the Pee Wee hockey championship in '78. I tried playing again in the senior's league (30+) but it seemed a lot harder than I remembered.

I work full time on graveyard and have recently startred real estate investing. I just purchased my third house this year. I found that having four mortgages is really expensive.$>

Anybody want to buy a house? :worship:
