Happy Easter To All

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby Coca Cola Teardrop » Sun Apr 08, 2007 10:17 am

Happy Easter to everyone from Texas.

We actually had snow in east Texas yesterday. First time in history that snow fell in April. It snowed all afternoon and even stuck. My 22 year old and her boyfriend built a snowman at 8pm and then attacked my 19 year old and her boyfriend with snowballs when they drove up.

We have never thought of a white Easter.

Hope everyone has a wonderfull Easter.

Nor I. I certainly didn't take it that way and wasn't trying to start a debate, just pulling Ira's chain a bit. Enjoy your prime rib, Ira, and thank... well, be grateful it's not matzoh balls and gefilte fish!

I'm off to some friends for ham & lamb. Thanks for the good wishes, Heikki & all.

I know dozens of avid fishermen, and not one ever caught a gefilte.

You'd think after wondering around for so many years, the Jews would have picked up a FEW culinary pointers. But every Passover, the same thing:

Gefilte Fish, Matzoh Ball Soup, Chopped Liver, and dried out Brisket.

Mmmmmm--dem's eats!!!

My favorite is the chocolate covered matzoh--which would taste okay if it weren't for that damn matzoh.
Here we go again!

I think we're gonna have bunny stew. Got a herd of them in the back yard I need to thin out.
Maybe with a nice chocolate dip. hmmmm
Have a nice Easter.
