Thank you all so much. I have felt so much better today. Most of the fears gone as I got to leave the hospital after the CT scan. There is currently no blood clot in my lungs and I have 3 wonderful new holes in my veins. My fault, I forgot to tell the CT person to leave the thingy (tech term) in for the lab.

They did find an enlarged thyroid, and that can give the symptoms I have been having but doesn't account for the thangy (different than thingy) in the original blood test that was high.

Gist of the story---I am now qualified for the 2nd round---more tests tomorrow. My doctor is very thorough and wants a Doppler on my veins and a heart stress test while I am compliant.

Your prayers and kind thoughts are a blessing to me and my family so again Thank You!

You're in our prayers here in the Pacific Northwest.

I'm glad you made the trip and are getting the followup. Most of us are not too good about that but it's really hard for them to figure things out if you don't get there and if you don't tell them what's happening (even if it sounds like you're whining). Just think about how much you'd gripe to the mechanic if your car was acting that strangely and let 'er rip! The more information they have the better they can diagnose.
