Any classic Mopar guys or gals here?

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

UPDATE: 7/6/08

No intake yet. I lost one from Ebay. I couldn't hang around the computer till it was over. It went for $650.00. There was another one, but he wasn't going to guaranty that there was no cracks in it. Not going to waste my money. Oh well, I've got plenty of time. First I have to get the car. Come on 19th. :worship:

 I wanted to show you guys this engine that Kevin Mignosa built for his '66 Dodge Charger. It is the 318 Poly engine like the one in the car I hope to get. This engine was made only between '57-'66. But if you look close, you will see what makes this engine so special. It is the only EFI Poly. He built the system himself from a '94 Chevy Caprice.

He says he has some more programming to do, but he can feel the difference. I think it is the coolest. 8)

That's a sweet looking EFI setup.

I'd planned on a megasquirt EFI setup on my old 64 Galaxie along with twin turbos, but I sold the car in the fall of 2006 instead.

I'll keep an eye out for one of those intakes, and I'll give some of my Texas car connections a call & see if I can find one of those somewhere.

Well, no news on the car. I did finish my radio project. I took a factory AM radio that goes in the car I am trying to get and retrofit newer electronics to get AM/FM/AUX and a set of preamp outputs. I am really proud of this. It only took me three tries to get it right. :?

This will look so cool in the car. Everyone will think it is just an old AM radio till they hear it.

That is just too cool!!! I never thought to even try that but it is an excellent idea! You should advertise, you could probably make a pile of money off of the old car enthusiasts that want all original equipment!

The hard part is finding a donor radio. I can't find any premade circuit boards to do the job so I have to find new shaft style radios and that is no easy task. it's hard to find them with the needle station indicator.

I already have one to do for a guys 66-67 Charger.

:D Well guys,
After three years of hunting for just the right one, and four months tlkin' the owner into selling it to me, I finally have my Mopar. She might not look like much to anyone else, but she is perfect for me.
I brought it home on 8-5 and since then put on two hubcaps, a thermostat, a water pump, two fan belts, and my converted radio. It runs great for being all original.
It even has an AC system that was installed in '72 that seems to still work pretty good.
