CD, we share the Honda bug. I have a '64 Honda 50 Cub that is in the process of restoration. Funny, I was in college when this one was new.

Mine is a 1981 model. I like the seats on the older Cubs.

The wife ordered the KYMCO people 50 and should have it in a week. Seems abit underpowered to me but looks like a nice built scooter. Will have to see how it goes although glad to see that other KYMCO owners are happy

Bought a honda silverwing 600 in 2002 as a fun toy. Now I ride the 50 mpg scoot whenever I can... costs 10 bucks to fill it up... used to cost 4....

I think this one originally had the "Banana" seat too. I want to have a luggage rack for camping.
The single seat might be pretty small for me. We'll see.

This is a little more primitive than the scoots being shown but is more fun because you get to put it together yourself and add the custom touches that you want . This is my summer transport . It has a 48cc two stroke Chinese bicycle motor . I have a little over 1400 miles on it now . I get about 30 miles per/litre . The quality of these kits is hit and miss . I do not use it to commute but some do . Everything you need comes in a box , all you do is supply the bicycle and a little bit of wrenching skill and you have your own custom motorbike . You also get to build a trailer for it . I wonder what shape that should be . . ...... D.J.

DJ, I like the motorized bike, but is the 2-cycle a bit smokey? After you ride it, do you smell like you just mowed the lawn?

I burn synthetic oil . I have never noticed it smoke at all . Black ooze does however come out of the exhaust pipe . The rear wheel and the kickstand do get a good coat of ooze . I recommend using synthetic oil in any two stroke . The difference is noticeable . ..... D.J.

The exhaust pipe on the bike or the exhaust pipes on the "tear"?
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

I know that each state is diffrent, how do you get an endorcement for a scooter. What do you have to do? Here in NM if it's over 50 cc's then you have to get a motorcycle license. Just Wondering.
