Glad you got to share. We finally got all the mess cleaned up from Fay today and it was a sunny day up until just a little while ago. Just what we needed, a little more rain.

It's that damn lightening followed by the thunder explosion that I don't like.

That's the best part of any storm. I sit out on the back porch just to watch.

Rich, I don't mind a nice storm but in Florida, there are no nice storms. The lightening is unforgiving and relentless and hits trees all around us. It scared me the other day so bad that I actually hollered and scared the crap out of the dog.

Sorry to hear you were scarred Becca. But it reminds me of a story...

Kristin was at home with the dogs one afternoon and one of those FL storms popped up. Well it was like you said, one crack of lightning was was so loud she screamed scared the dog and then it pooed on the FL.... Funny now....not funny then. ;)

We finally got some rain here Monday... NBD though...

Mk

ps...why am I dreading a Russian named storm???? :(

Good morning MaryK. Yes, those damn pop-up storms are so nasty here. I am not afraid of bad weather but it scared the crap out of me the other day but I didn't poop on the floor. I made Maggie run for cover though. Sometimes it feels like I can't escape it...we have french doors in our bedroom, living room and den and windows in each room so it doesn't muffle the loud thunder. But, yesterday was the first time in 3 weeks that we have had beautiful sunshine all day.

It sounds like 'Gus' might become a big problem.
