No room it in the garage. We can't have the canopy garages in our housing development. So far the paint has been fine. I plan on re-painting the roof again this spring if I don put aluminum on it. I may build a lean-to on the side behind the fence. That would be legal.

On Wednesday, December 17th, we got 2 1/2 feet of snow in a 24 hour period. I left for Lake Havasu City, AZ on the 20th. When I got back on the 30th, we had gotten at least another 2 1/2 feet. It took me four hours to plow out my driveway (500 feet) and in front of the house so I could get the car into the garage. Since then, we have had at least another 14 inches of snow. It is snowing as I write this. I just LOVE the Pacific Northwest!

Well, it is still snowing this morning, but it is also 27 degrees, so the snow will be changing to rain later this morning. We will be getting 1" to 2" of rain in the next 24 hours. Interesting, considering the total annual rainfall in the Spokane area is 16". And considering I still have 2 1/2 feet of snow on the roof of my garage.

I'm glad I plowed some more this morning.

Okay, so all that snow we got is now a big slushy mess and all of it packed on the roads has turned them into a skating rink. I have to go up a hill 1,000 feet to get to the county road. I didn't even try my Honda Civic this morning. I used the 4x4 pickup with the plow blade on it. Got 2/3 up the hill and couldn't go any further. I hit the brakes, and the truck started sliding down the hill - right toward 3 other trucks that couldn't make it up the hill.

I let off the brakes and tried steering towards the berm. Luckily, I was able to do that and it stopped my slide. I then cut open one of the sacks of sand I carry as ballast and spread some of it in front of the truck wheels and a bit up the road. Second try at the hill did the trick. I stuck as close to the left hand berm as possible, just in case.

I have to get my Honda out on Saturday for servicing. I'm not sure I will be able to.

I also have to start the snow sliding off the metal garage roof, or I will end up with a flattened teardrop trailer when the roof collapses.

 Go up backwards and drop the blade if it slides down. Oh and please :pictures: :pictures: :pictures: :pictures: :pictures: :pictures:

I'm just kidding with you. My Nissan does great on snow and ice as long as it isn't too deep.

Good luck to you all out there in winter wonder land.

Several inches (feet) of snow now heavy rain! may be time to ask one question.

Is my tear Sea worthy? As a boat may be more appropriate at this moment.
