Ever hear the saying "pot calling the kettle black"?
My love affair with MACs ended with OS 5 - and why have I not given advice? The above answers are all sensible and what i would have said and I don't run IE 8 - REALLY! It always seems that people are quick to get frustrated with their systems when it's not a point and click get it done right now kinda thing. Blame windows or microsoft, or IE 5, 6, 7, 8 - take your pick. I been with Netscape (remember that one), Ie, FireFox, and Mozilla - and returned back to IE. All Browsers have their problems - REALLY. Windows Xp was touted as junk when it first came out, so did vista, and now windows 7 is hailed as the savior. I have often wondered why people buy into all the negative that only affects the 5% of top computer users and programmers.REALLY They heard that Vista was junk and can't ever give ma a reason why. Sure their old programs won't work anymore - same is true for the MACs as well. OS 5 programs, printers, etc may or may not work with OSX. I would be more inclined to own a MAC if they'd licensed their OS in the early 90's like promised (and failed - due to corporate decisions - REALLY) My machine runs as reliable as a MAC and my OS is very stable - REALLY. BTW - it does appear that the problem is with IE8. you might want to check your In private settings as well. it may not let you save the MSN USA cookie
InPrivate. InPrivate helps to protect people’s data and privacy from being retained locally on the PC they are using. This protects against third parties who might be in a position to track a consumers’ online activities. Consumers have the ability to use either of the features (InPrivate Blocking or InPrivate Filtering) independently.
-InPrivate Browsing. When activated, InPrivate Browsing helps ensure that History, temporary Internet files and cookies are not recorded on a PC after browsing. When in InPrivate Browsing, toolbars and extensions are automatically disabled, and browsing History is automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
- now hows is that for Black? - REALLY
