There are several rivers up in this neck of the woods... some pretty remote country too. I'll occaisionally see nude people along the rivers, young and old when I'm fly fishing... No big deal, they're just getting closer with nature.
Come to think of it... I even fly fished nude once myself, but I was at a lake, which was about 8,000 ft above sea level and we had to backpack a better part of the day just to get there. Me and my girlfriend at the time, were the only humans around for miles... I was one with nature that day, just had to be carefull which way the breeze was blowing while casting. :frightened:
That was many moons ago...

So I guess next your going to tell us how you cought a 5lb trot with a flying weenie.

Have a good day.

Gage,
That was one of my more memorable times fly fishing, not because of the fact that I was only wearing my hat and sun glasses...
I made an important discovery that day about fishing high altitude lakes.
I practically whipped the water to a foam earlier that morning trying to catch breakfast. Fished about two and a half hours for three trout.
My girlfriend and I were skinny dippin' early in the afternoon and I noticed a slight breeze came up, just enough to put a little ripple to the water. All of the sudden... fish were just jumping like crazy!
I didn't bother to put on my clothes, because I didn't want to miss this action. I ran back to camp, grabbed my fly rod and hit the water. After my third cast, I decided to crimp the barb because I'd have a fish every cast! I was using a #14 Adams. Caught over 70 fish in just a little more than an hour or so. Kept about 12 of the larger ones for dinner.
A few Rainbows, but the majority were Eastern Brook, the biggest one I kept was about 18".
I didn't decide to fish in the nude, it just happened that way.
I believe that the little bit of ripple that the breeze put on the water, affected the the vision of the trout. Like I said... they just started jumping all over the place and I didn't notice anything emerging, did see a few bugs buzzing around here and there, but not enough to warrant the way the fish were acting...

 Here is the clothing optional RV park in Arizona. They had a car show there one year and was a bit uncomfortable to be there. Whoops forgot the web site http://www.shangrilaranch.com/brochure.html

My, My, we is a rowdy bunch, yes it is fun, but Sauvies Island does not allow overnight camping, best we can do is go out on a boat to one of the Columbia Islands and tent it. As to cooking, well that is what aprons are for, as to looking, not the point, the environment is.
