Joanne Schrader would be cool. He is my underdog driver that I pull for.
as for big money team I'll go with Dean on this one "Smoke" being pushed by Jr.

Hey Steve,

It's amazing. As well as he has done in every other series he's raced in, he's never done that well in a Cup car. I keep hoping.

Joanne,
Kenny is driving for the Wood Bros. this year... I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in victory lane this season.

I haven't watched Nascar that close for the last couple of years so I'm a bit out of touch. I know that Roush, Childress and DEI can put a car into Victory Lane, but are the Wood Bros up to the task? I know that they have a rich history in Nascar, but I haven't heard much about them since my dad used to watch their driver's back "In the Day". I enjoyed watching Yarborough race in their cars.

Definitely one of the more exciting finishes in a while. Only about a half dozen cars knew which direction the finish line was in the end there. 8) 8)
Possible indication of what tomorrow has in store :QM :QM

Welp,
Speed Week at Daytona is in the books.
Three races, three Frozen Field Finishes.
They use to make the trucks take a green, white and checkered at race speeds and the race wouldn't finish until that happened.
They claim that too much equipment was being torn up and came up with the one shot deal at a green-white-checkered finish.
The result seems to be Frozen Field Finishes... Something I am not in favor of, even if my driver is in first.
At the plate tracks, it takes two laps just to get up to speed.
To me, it really compromises the thrill from this fan's viewpoint.
I say go with 5 green flag laps and make 'em keep racing until 5 green flag laps are in the books.
Today's yellow which froze the field for the final time on the final lap, was for a single car incident... everyone cleared that car, so why was the yellow even thrown?
How long are the fans going to put up with Frozen Field Finishes?
Maybe I'll just start tuning in to watch the final handfull of laps... That way I won't feel as disapointed when the Frozen Field Finish is employed...
