8.88 miles snowshoing today... it was a pretty good crank.. we did it in 2 hours and 25 minutes. it was only 25 minutes longer than what we have been doing.. but 3.5 to 4 miles further..

We did not take a break.. and did not have to wait for people..

:D :D

Went out to get the mail this evening and it was so beautiful out, I decided to keep going. Ended up walking 3.5 miles. :D

If I keep posting perhaps other exercisers will show up..

Friday I did some weight training.. nothing to serious.. otherwise I took the day off.

Yesterday we did a nice snowshoe hike with others. The hike was 4.9 miles and I put on extra circling back for slower people.

Exercising for pay started last week. A logger started up, which means I do a lot of wandering up and down the units. We've all put on weight due to the log prices being low so no logging was going on until now.

Friday, I added acrobatics to the workout. I tripped and worked on somersaults with a leap up afterwards. I failed to point my toes so points were taken off. My co-worker worked on his verbal and digestive skills. I practiced quelling my verbal skills.

Yesterday was a recovery day. I was a little sore from Friday's acrobatic session.

Today I plan to do some mattress 'rasseling. I'm getting the Little Guy ready for some kind of a trip when the weather looks good and there's time to go.

Was going to begin a program and start posting here, but I seem to've developed a upper resperatory infection (mild) due to the weather fluctuating so much, and probably shouldn't begin untill I feel better.
Stupid weather!
Fenlason you're an animal! If I tried to hike five miles I'd need a tow truck to get out of bed the next day

After my break between stages (+ extra time for dental problems...my dentist said I wasn't allowed to lift weights for a few days after having a tooth pulled.....boo hiss) I've started stage 4, which consisted of some familiar exercises from stage 2, but 3 sets a piece, and of course, heavier weight. I feel tired, but good.
Can't wait till the weather is more pleasant so I can do some outside stuff (walking, hiking, rollerblading) on my off days.

felt better today, so started program. About 25 mins walking (slight snafu with stopwatch, my fualt) some supine pullups, pushups, cunches, back extensions, and wall squats. I won't mention reps, I've been humbled  but the longest journey starts with a single step.

Last nights workout was ..... surprise.. another snowshoe :D

Our numbers are dwindling  :( There were 3 of us.

We did between 4 and 5 miles. Fairly fast.

Art... I would not say animal... I try to stay fairly active.. but it is all relative. My wife's cousin just did a 12 mile snow shoe hike over a couple of mountain peaks. She is building up for a 22 miler next month. Her sister just ran a marathon.

22 miles on snows? Good Lord! Tell her she has my absolute respect
Tonight's 'workout' just a 25 min walk. Thought about a little MA practice, but I'll wait on that.
