I was sort of looking for a table top planer and joiner... not that I would have boughten it today.. but I did not find anything. I got my motorcycle battery. My light was not in at the shop yet..

I was also sort of looking for hula hoops. I had thought of them before..and part of my joint mobility program.. included doing the hula hoop motion. I figured it might be easier to do it with an actual hula hoop. they do make fitness ones.. but I could not find any around here.. I tried K-Mart.. and they had some that lit up... on sale.. but decided against them.
Well I went to Mardens.. a local "surplus" store... to get a new rug / mat for the laundry room.. and as soon as I walked in.. hula hoops... :D

they had some decent sized ones.. I bought two... :D

and I did get a rug I wanted. They had a fairly decent sized selection of the water hog type mats. This is heavy enough to cover the floor irregularities. :D

oh yeah.. and a trip to the healthfood store.

is it ironic that I go there for chocolate... :NC

I did buy other stuff.. but they do have good dark chocolate... :D

Heres a cool way to make yourself a Man-ly hula hoop.

cool.. I don't think that is pvc pipe.. but yeah..

while out there I did think about making my own.. I have some pex tubing left over.. and actually some of that black pipe..

I will start with what I have.. and then if I need more.. bigger and or heavier.. I will make some... :D

thanks.. :)

OK; Dave, Kerry, somebody...did anyone see the race today? The Closer is rollin'! Anybody but JJ or Shrub is my motto for this season, but I like it even more when one of my favorites finishes in the front

glenn, I know you don't understand what I'm talking about but trust me, some will lol

Yeah, Shaunn! It was one of the best races that I have seen. Just really, really wanted JR to win. I am thinking at this point that Happy Harvick is going to create havic with the rest of the field for the rest of the year. I hope not, because I like to see things spread around more, but not sure that will happen and like you said 'anybody but JJ'!!!

I hear ya Kerry. I was really excited when Jr put it out in front with just a few to go. Thought he was finally going to break the streak. Wish he could have held Harvick off, but it just wasn't his day- yet. But at least they were 1-2. And Texas is next and he's usually good on speedways 8)
