So what your saying is that we probably sound alike

No...I think of you havin a Southern accent...not to be confused with Okie.

Scarlett O'Hara Vs Reba McEntire.

"Youall" vs "ya'll".

Johnny's got it. Jan can be our very own "Miss Scarlet" ;)

No...Scarlet was on the mean side from what I remember of the movie.....I watched it when I was a kid....but not since.....I just can't stand it...it's hard to explain....but I know you meant it in a nice way. :)

LOL, I do know what you mean. And it's why Rhett didn't give a damn in the end

I think "Miss Jan" has a nice Southern ring to it, in my mind anyway ;)

What do people in Maine and New Mexico sound like exactly? Do any of you...not just those states....have accents? Just curious.

Your sounding very charlie sheen-ish lately Lisa.

That's funny...I was kind of thinking the same thing.
Isn't his new live show called "The Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour"?
Drop the crack pipe Lisa.

Just kiddin. :)

Seriously....I envy you being able to do things like that. I usually swallow those "truth grenades" and they go to the deepest darkest parts of me. One day they'll prolly explode.

Thanks. ;)

I think a lot of times you don't realize you have one until you're someplace else and people mention it. I've been told by a Cajun of all people that I have an acent. Now that was funny, had to ask him twice what the heck he was sayin'

I also noticed years ago that liqour desolves accents better than anything else :?

When I moved to PA, they all told me I had a Jersey accent. When I moved back to NJ, they all told me I sounded like a hick.

That's true.

I love to hear different accents.

I worked for a big hotel franchise company some years ago. I had to deal with franchisees on a daily basis, and my region was the entire south. Most of these folks were from India, some from India via England. I heard some really interesting accents. My favorite was the Indian/Liverpool/with Texas twang.
