clicky!

My rug in here is getting beat up, and is starting to slide around on the floor. I also figured this would be a good idea to keep the noise down for the neighbors. I would need 3 boxes.

I used 4'x6' horse stall mats

they might be more awkward to carry around.

Tractor supply lists them at about 35.. so the same money as what your's is.. but twice the area. I paid more from the place up the road... but I like them.. :D

I am looking at some on Amazon now too. There are some that are less expensive, and I am reading reviews. I am most concerned about them sliding around, and also fitting together evenly. There are some on Sports Authority where people complained about the rubber smell so bad that they had to remove them. That is also a concern.

Also, right now, I have to use a mat when I do anything on the floor. This carpet is very rough on the hands, and anything else. The mat is getting beat to hell, so I would like to eliminate the need for that.

Yes, I notice Chris is the same way.

Speaking of Chris, I wonder where "our" Chris has been.

I had looked at some of the "snap" together flooring type ones.. and the reviews were not great.

Most gyms find the stall matts.. to be rugged.. effective.. and better priced.

I had earlier get something different for a matt from Home Depot.. it stunk real bad.

I think I would prefer something that locks together, like the others. That, and what I have now is 5' x 7' and I would like to stick with that or a bit larger.

These mats are pretty dense.. they do protect the floor greatly.. but in an area where I do a lot of the floor.. I do have a rug with padding under it.

Where some of what your looking at might be cushier to the feel...
