I'm back. :D

I'll read through the posts from the last week later, to see if you took good care of the thread.

I'm here for a couple days, and then off to somewhere in ? Carolina to shoot a couple more cars.

Someone took a phone-camera shot of me hard at work last week in Pittsburgh.

Image

That car actually ran okay once we put new batteries in it, and the air suspension even worked. The rest of the collection ranged from turn the key and go, to three guys working for hours just to get it to where we could push the #%&@!!! thing.

That one is one of about three cars in the collection that I could imagine owning. The rest were either trailer queens, or dressed up pieces of chit.

I have some pork tenderloin on the smoker, and a drink poured, and some Heavy Metal cranked up. Yes, it is my decompression day after six days of work, travel, hotel food, and a lot of profanity-laced conversations with cars that haven't been moved in years.

Good Morn

It's that time again... The time to meet the day - soak up some sun and have a great day.

What a weekend. 1st I get a phone call from my wife's aunt saying that my wife's uncle had passed away. A real nice guy and always enjoyed his conversation. Then was taking my brother out for dinner and we cross the rail tracks in town only to see the commuter train stopped in the middle of the tracks - cops all over the place - lights a blazing and sirens all over the place. Seems a guy tried to cross the tracks and didn't see the commuter train coming and got whacked.

And finally - my wife's cousin is a pilot and he was out taking his new glidder for a ride. Well the tow plane got them going - a confusion about the release of the tow cable and he slams into a group of trees - his passenger is thrown out of the plane - dies and the cousin is left in the remains of the plane in the top of the tree - this was not a great weekend.

It has been long day. It is almost midnight, and I am still working. I'm burning DVDs full of photos right now for a customer.

I have some 70's rock on playing while I wait for the DVDs to burn.

I fly to somewhere in the Carolinas tomorrow.

Then back to Dallas -- for now.

WAKE UP It is the time Yes get out of bed and face your day.

In your Nation's Capital it is CODE ORANGE - so if you have problems breathing - are elderly - etc. Stay in doors. Drink plenty of fluids and stay cool.

It will be HOT HOT HOT - 95+ and then - like normal in the Mid Atlantic region - we will end the day with T-Storms.....

So there you go - enjoy that cup-o-joe and enjoy your day.

Good morning from you know where!

We got a little reprieve last night with some "lower" temps...down to the high 60s over night. Drove around with the windows down in the car and it felt great.

Today we are headed to the high 80s and the normal rain chances this afternoon.

Thank you for your prayers. My sister is healing well. She is able to type and use facebook.

Make it a great day where you are!
