8) Good morning all.
Hope that you had a great day yesterday!!
I worked an eight hour shift and did not take a single picture...I was inside all day in the A/C! Today will be different!

Still hot and humid here in Orlando with some scattered showers in the works.
The evil ones say that we may have a cool-front coming through this weekend...that would be nice!

Make it a great day where you are.

Your Nation's Capital is up and running and the weather is exactlyas it has been for the past week. Rain - FOG and more rain. And we now have a flood watch - so this will be fun.

And guess what? Well it seems that the US Census has completed a study and those people (ME) that live in Montgomery County Maryland (ME again) have the longest commute in the entire US - average time 31 minutes one way (mine is 40+ minutes and I go about 20 miles and leave before GOD wakes up) So there we go - we are Number 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great day - losers!!!!!!!!

It is another very pleasant day at the doghouse. Low 80s for the high. Really nice sleeping weather at night -- upper 50s last night.

However, Texas is still bone dry, and as the fall and winter winds kick up, things could get very bad, unless we get some rain. Actually, lots of rain. Then come the spring winds, which are the highest. We better get a bunch of rain before then.

Not to worry, though, governor goodhair has a plan -- cut state spending on firefighting by $34 million, and pray for rain.

80 percent of the firefighters fighting these wildfires are volunteer firefighters, and they are exhausted. Of course, most of that $34 million in spending cuts is grants to volunteer fire departments, so they can buy wasteful things, like fire trucks and firefighting clothing.

Oh well, rant off. The weather is pleasant for outdoor activities, at least. Well, if your house isn't in the path of a wildfire.

8) 8) Good morning,
Lots of sunshine and 50% chance of thunderstorms on stage for today. Perhaps that will keep the temps below 90 for the day!!

Got the late shift again today which helps with the temps and working conditions.

Make it a great day where you are.
