I had risen but wasn't quite shining. Then I got to work where they were serving a huge and glorious breakfast in the teacher's faculty room. I was invited to come and partake (we just have an office in the school but are not technically part of the school staff). So now I sit here with a piece of praline french toast, sausage and a cup of Christmas Wassail. Now I am shining.
The Teardrop Nanny wrote:Okay, I'll share...when I went to work this morning our school board had cooked us a farmhand breakfast with pancakes, eggs, ham, fruit, juice, coffee, etc. And we had cookies galore and candy canes later in the day in my classroom. I am sure to suffer a sugar hangover tomorrow morning.
Thanks to you, Glenn, for the refresher course. I hope I have the magic.
