Miriam...I've been testing for two solid days and missed most of this thread until just now.

Keep getting tested until the doctors figure it out. This is an issue that you need to resolve, but medicine isn't a straight line. Figuring it out is the important thing--what it costs, it costs.

I know that sounds cavalier, but since as I type I owe Sloan Kettering approximately a year's net pay, I can say it from the heart--whatever the price of figuring out a critical medical problem, it's preferable to the alternative.

Aunti M , I have read so many of your posts I feel like I know you. I hope everything works out ok , that kind of stuff is nothing to put off , or take lightly . Not sure how I missed this thread but just now reading it, I got caught up... I so enjoyed our time together in Minden and am sending you a hug! Do whatever you need to do to put it right... I am sorry for the waiting game. I thought the Dr would call. The only news we have is they allowed me to leave the heart center where they did the vein scan. That is always good news.

Yeah, if they let you go home, that's always a good sign. It seems to me that the medical professionals are never as anxious to share your results and you are to hear them...does that make sense? I know what I mean!

Any way. Just keep us posted...any news at all. We want to know. You have all us "sisters" waiting to hear how our Sister is!!! You know???
